Travel through the spectacular mountain scenery and lush fertile valleys of the Cape. Taste a mixture of fascinating history and allow yourself to indulge in the pleasures of the renowned Cape Winelands.
We’ll visit Stellenbosh, Franschhoek and Paarl. We carefully select farms for wine tasting according to your preferences in wine and you can choose from a wide range of noble, world renowned and award winning wine makers.
Stellenbosch was the second settlement of the Cape discovered in 1679 and named after its founder Simon van der Stel. It has the oldest and longest wine route and is home to the country’s 3 biggest wine distributors. Renowned for beauty and tranquility, Dorp Street displays some of the most precious Cape Dutch colonial houses kept in superb condition.
Franschhoek is renowned for top restaurants and noble wines, a quaint little town with a French influence brought about by the arrival of the French Huguenots in 1688.
Paarl is the 3rd oldest town of the Cape, home to the Afrikaans language monument.

Walking in langa township informative...
Negative point :

It's not an half day tour (8:30am -12:30am) ==> reality : pick up at 9:30am and drop off at 11:45am
Offer too expensive (670rand/pers) regarding To the time and the explanation (too limited)

We were not sure we wanted to have a township tour, and i finally booked a tour with Camissa Travel which was recommanded from the Backpacker (le Routard). Our driver, Nelson, was very friendly and passionnated about history, we learned so much with him, he put things into perspective and gave us a chance to try to understand the history of Cape Town, South Africa and the townships. We had the chance to walk into a township and to have contacts with the people living here. We could see that Langa is trying to improve the living of these habitants.
We felt very safe during the tour, and at no moment we had an intrusiv feeling. I would recommand it again and again. Thank you for this experience.
You have to do it. Nelson and simon were really two exceptionnal guides for this tour. You cant miss this experience just go ! Nelson and simon thanks a lot again, we wont forget you, you are nice guys !! See you soon we hope
Educational, powerful, fascinating, insightful. Nelson and Seymour were phenomenal guides.
Must do when in Cape Town. It is a part of South African live and history you simply cannot ignore. The driver (Mpumzi) was really knowledgeable and gave a good overview of how the segregation formed over the years, The walking guide (Songs) is born and raised in the Langa township and can tell you everything you want to know. To be able to see inside the township houses and walk around the streets was a really valuable experience.
