Description

The definitive Cape Town tour, the best of the Cape Town encompasses all of the city’s top attractions and destinations. From the Blue Flag beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton, to the quiet village of Noordhoek, beautiful Cape Point Nature Reserve and warm beaches of False Bay, as well as the award-winning wine estates of Stellenbosch, you will be able to discover the many wonders of the Cape Peninsula and its many highlights.

Itinerary

Situated along the Atlantic Seaboard, the beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay have been awarded Blue Flag status, offering pristine white beaches and beautiful, clear waters that make these beaches highly popular with locals and visitors alike.

The small fishing village of Hout Bay is often jokingly referred to as the ‘Republic of Hout Bay’ by Cape Town locals, and has the sense of being an entirely separate town. A beautiful beach, delicious fresh seafood, bustling markets and plenty of restaurants make this suburb a must-visit on any Cape tour.

Cape Point and the spectacular nature reserve that lies in this area is one of the most famous landmarks in Cape Town, and for good reason. Situated on the very tip of the peninsula, with the Indian Ocean on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other, the area spans across landscapes such as rugged cliffs, lush fynbos and vast open spaces – no Cape Town tour is complete without a visit to Cape Point.

Simons Town is the seat of the SA Navy, and has a charming coastal town atmosphere and a vibrant history. Here you can find a thriving harbour, a toy museum, navy museum and plenty of other sights – nearby is also Boulders Beach, which is one of the only places in the world that you can swim alongside penguins.

The quaint suburb of Kalk Bay runs along the Main Road, with the False Bay coastline running on one side, and the mountain on the other. Along the Main Road lies a host of veritable treasure troves, from antique shops to costume shops, bakeries, restaurants and plenty more. The area is also excellent for whale watching during whale season (June to November).

The Cape Winelands lie just 20 minutes outside of Cape Town, and this is where you will find some of the country’s top wine estates. A number of wine varietals are produced here, including Chenin Blanc, Shiraz, Pinotage and the signature sparkling wine, Methode Cap Classique. The town of Stellenbosch offers plenty more besides wine tasting, including cellar tours, cheese tasting and the chance to purchase wine at cellar prices.

As you would expect from a city that spans across a diverse range of cultures, landscapes and areas, the best of the Cape Tour offers a smorgasbord of things to see and do – making this the ultimate Cape Town tour for those wanting to get a taste of the Cape’s many fascinating attractions and highlights.

We booked two tours with this company out of Johannesburg. Our guides were Christian and Vincent and they did an outstanding job covering the history of South Africa. Both were very pleasant, met us on time and went out of their way to make us comfortable. I would not hesitate to book with them.

We booked the half day boat eco tour out of Cape Town.
We had a fantastic trip seeing Cape Fur Seals, Dolphins, Penguins, Sun fish and even though it was early in the season we saw Southern Right Whales.
The skipper was great and very knowledgeable.
I would recommend this tour to anyone.

My partner and I booked a half day tour of Johannesburg and Soweto prior to our flight home. We were lucky to be allocated Pascal as our guide. He was brilliant. He had a detailed knowledge of the city and all sites that we visited, as well as being friendly, engaging, punctual and safety conscious. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend.

No issues with these folk. African Eagle offers day Tours on short notice and always do their best to provide amenities not offered by other operators. Passionate owners, personally involved in the business. They also have the largest fleet of vehicles and often carries the overflow work of other companies. Scheduled and private Tours.

What a great tour with Mukie today. Very knowledgeable and professional. Handled himself very well. I will recommend Africa Eagle any time

African eagle is a reliable, terrific company. Thoroughly enjoyed our wine tour. I would highly recommend 👌

June, 2021

One of my best recommendations for anyone traveling to South Africa. Very reliable and safe. Value for money.

While the tour itself was enjoyable the driving was absolutely terrible, rules of the road were not obeyed, and additionally other drivers were put at risk. Just because you are driving a 'taxi', it doesn't mean you have to drive like a taxi ;)

We had a wonderful e-bike winelands day tour and our guide, Langton, was very knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely do it again.

Great tour company !

Great time with tourists

Extremely unprofessional!!! I booked a chapmans peak Ebike tour. When I arrived at chapmans peak, we found no one waiting for us. When we called we were told to drive to Rhodes Memorial in rondeboch as the start point is there eventhough we emphasised that it was the CHAPMANS PEAK tour. Drove 80+ kms for absolutely nothing. In the end we were told it was all a misunderstanding. If I could give it zero stars I would
